Christmas truly is the busiest time of the year! So many fun activities and social events take place. Shops are filled with people. The air sings with merriment and joy. Homes are being furnished with Christmas decorations. Kitchens are filled with smells of cookies, treats, and food. Everyone is in great spirits. It’s Jesus’ birthday after all!
In conclusion, Christmas is one of the happiest times of the year! Since December is so busy, families are spending a lot of time socially. Friends and relatives call from all corners of the world.
Through all the sociability, I think that we sometimes forget what is right at home. In some schools, winter is the only time that kids get a longer break. At different jobs, people even get a break from work for Christmas.
Today, we are discussing the importance of spending time with your family through all the business of Christmas. All in a Day’s Work has this title because spending time with your immediate family can be apart of your daily life. Whatever plans you have this December, your family are with whom you spend those plans.
Enjoy your loved-ones! Show them how much you care. Make known to them that they matter. They’re special to you, even if you won’t admit it. I am talking to all siblings on this earth! Ha!
When you wake on Christmas day, remember how much Jesus sacrificed for you. He took all the sins of all people and place them on His shoulders. He felt all that pain and suffering for you! You can sacrifice a little time and effort for your family! Let us become more like Him! It’s never too late to start.
Lets pray!
Dear Lord, thank you for carrying all our sins on the cross and crushing them to the ground. Help to us to become more like you. Help us to enjoy our families this Christmas. Give us the courage and strength to show our family just how much we love them. You are so amazing, God. You are brave, courageous, loving, dependable, and, not to mention, perfect! We love you so much!!! It’s in your name we pray. Amen.
