Fun Twists to My Week

Need some lift in your step, some spunky twists to add to your week…well, you are in the right place. Today on Tenacious Faith I’m sharing some spunky twists that have made my day over the weeks. Get ready to witness some awesome pics from pic collage, some exciting events, and lots of praise to the Lord for such memories you and I can enjoy…all on this post!

Number one, done in my hair by my amazing mother, the braided pigtails. A nice, comfortable hairdo that you might even want to try. Instructions are just down below. You will be amazed when this hairdo is through with you. It’s so cute and fabulous!

Instructions:

  1. Find the part of your hair and separate it in two all the way down to the nape of the neck.

  2. Braid each part of your hair all the way down in a normal 3 strand braid tying it off with a clear elastic. You can braid it from the top and down or braid it just starting above the nape of the neck.

  3. Then, right above the nape of the neck find a little hole where you can pull the a long piece of ribbon through. You might need help from an adult.

  4. Pull the ribbon through the hole and pull up the braid until the ribbon can be tied around the elastic.

  5. Tie the ribbon around the elastic and cut off the ends if it is too long. You are done and your hair looks fantastic!

The next spunky twist is sure to put a smile on your face! Do you remember on the “Last 2 Days-Christmas Weekly Post” (if you haven’t read it yet that’s fine) how I said that the oldest, little brother, Ethan, got an in house drone, but I didn’t have a picture…well, here is a picture of another one of his gifts, his “My Bowl.” He is such a cutie pie in this picture. I raced to get a some kind of camera, and the pic turned out great! Take a peek.

This last week we had two very exciting events happen, starting with my dads birthday. We wrapped his presents, made a rainbow chip cake, and I decorated it! Then, that night, when he came home we celebrated. I played Happy Birthday on the piano and it was a lot of fun! I think my dad had a really good time. His birthday was definitely a success!

The last big event was Ethan’s and my gymnastic competition. We go to a gymnastic’s center located in Mesa, Arizona, called “At The Matinee.” We have been going there ever since I was five.

The competition was awesome. I had a good time. I won two medals and Ethan won one, but his medal was for 1st place. So, lets shout out for him. “Good job, Ethan.” This was his first big competition and my second. I can’t wait till our next one!

These past few weeks have been much fun and I’m so glad I got to share them with you! If you liked this post or have any spunky twists you want to share make sure to in the comments. Thanks for reading!

I just loved this “spunky” post! Love the braid and the birthday fun! Also, “way to go, Ethan!” He did a great job at his meet as did you! You both are doing so well “at the Matinee!” 😀 Ethan’s bowl is bigger than his head! LOL What does he put in there? My spunky twist was playing Hide and Seek with Evelyn. I started counting and had my head down on the couch. She crawled on to my back and I pretended like I couldn’t find her; turning around this way and that and saying, “Evelyn, where are you?” All the while, she was giggling. When I got to the mirror and we made eye contact, I said, “Why, there you are!” She just giggled and giggled! So fun. Next time we are all together, we’ll have to have a huge game of Hide and Seek in the house! That would be so much fun. Until your next post, I Love you!!!! and look forward to reading more of your writings!

Thank you, Wawa. A huge game of Hide and Seek would be so much fun. Thanks for sharing. Ethan was eating mac n cheese. He loves his bowl. Also, I wanted to ask you if you knew any other little girls(maybe the girl next door at your house) you would tell them about Tenacious Faith and tell them that I have some super cool Valentine’s activities planned. I would love to have some other little girls reading my blog. Thank you so much! Until your next comment…I LOVE you!
      Lots of Love,

I enjoyed your “spunky” post too! The braids look really cool, but I don’t think I can pull that off, do you? Enjoyed reading and seeing your pictures of all your “memories” you are making. Keep up the good work! Love you!
