Supplies:

  • Juicer
  • sharp knife
  • cutting board
Juicer Digraph

Directions:

Prep: (Remember to wash your hands before baking or cooking anything.)

  1. Get your cutting board out  (I cut my finger cutting an apple without an adult one time. So,  you will want to ask one for help. ) and cut each red apple in half with the sharp knife. Cut the stems of as well. Also, cut your ginger to form about a half inch. Run the carrots over with water and scrub them with your hands to get all the dirt off. Peel your orange too.                                                                               Make:

  2. Once all your prep is done it’s time to set up your juicer. First, attach your pitcher to the circular little outlet and plug it in. An adult can help you with any other things you need put together.
  3.  Set the dial to high and take out the puncher. Alternate with the apple halves, carrots, and the orange using the puncher to  slowly punch down each thing you put in after you put it in. Add the spinach and  ginger doing the same thing with the puncher.
  4. After your juice is made put it in the refrigerator and let it chill for about 10 minutes. Then, take it out and give it a stir. Pour it in about 5 glasses filled with some ice and using a half cup of juice for each cup. Enjoy with your family and friends. It’s healthy and delicious!

Poem

Bed in Summer

In winter I get up at night
And dress by yellow candle-light.
In summer, quite the other way,
I have to go to bed by day.

I have to go to bed and see
The birds still hopping on the tree,
Or hear the grown-up people’s feet
Still going past me in the street.

And does it not seem hard to you,
When all the sky is clear and blue,
And I should like so much to play,
To have to go to bed by day?
