Are you ready for some fun, funky, and fabulous Easter nails? Check out these super cute nails with lots of Easter colors and brightness. As it is the day before Easter, the day we celebrate Jesus’ Resurrection, why not begin the celebrating with a little color and fun!?! These EGG- CELLENT Easter nails are a great way to get into the festivities, and with this short tutorial on how to do them, your nails can be raring and ready for Easter Sunday.
Sunday is coming quickly! With that said, lets get going. Follow the simple steps below.
Easter Nails:
- GET SUPPLIES READY. First, pick three colors of nail polish that fit your fancy or match with the clothes you decide to wear tomorrow. Line them up in the order you want them to go on your nails. Get out a clear top coat nail polish as well for step five Also have cotton balls, Q-tips, and nail polish remover handy. Have a nail clipper, nail filer, and a buffing block ready if you have them as well.
- PREPARE NAILS. After you have picked your three colors and gotten your supplies, make sure your nails are clear of any nail polish and the tops are even. To have a nice looking nail, you can use nail clippers, nail fliers, buffer block, etc.
- PAINT FIRST COAT. Now that your nails are ready, you can begin the first coat of nail polish. Each nail will be painted one of your three colors. For example, if you pick purple, teal, and light pink you will line them up in that order. Beginning with your fifth finger nail, you will paint it purple, you will paint the next nail teal, and the next nail will be painted light pink. Once you reach the pointer finger, you will paint it purple and so on until all ten of your finger nails are painted. For extremely detailed steps to paint the nail perfectly, look below.
- PAINT THE NAIL PERFECTLY. Carefully place the nail polish brush in the center of the nail. Slowly push the brush down the cuticle of the nail, and then, brush upward to very tip of nail. Do this until the entire finger nail is cover by placing the brush on different sides of the center of the nail.
- CLEAN EXCESS NAIL POLISH. Take a Q-tip, dipped in nail polish remover, and run it around the nail to clean any excess nail polish off the skin. Now, let the nail polish dry before doing the next step. Ask a parent or guardian for help if you can’t figure out exactly how to paint the nail.
- PAINT SECOND COAT. Follow the same procedure as you did when learning to PAINT THE NAIL PERFECTLY on all ten nails. Be careful while doing the second coat, making sure the whole nail is covered in a layer of nail polish that is NOT transparent all the way down to the nail itself.
- PAINT CLEAR TOP COAT. After your nails have dried (not sticky when lightly touched) paint a clear top coat using the same instructions as in PAINT THE NAIL PERFECTLY. Seeing that that the top coat is clear, you do not need to be as careful, but it is wise to still do it with thoughtfulness and patience for a smooth, shiny effect. Once all ten finger nails have their top coat let them dry completely.
- ENJOY THE EGG- CELLENTS! Now, you are ready for easter Sunday.I hope this written tutorial was helpful and the instructions made for a lovely finish. Have a wonderful Easter!
Lets pray!
Dear Jesus, thank you for providing us the materials to dress up our nails in celebration of your resurrection! We love you so much, Lord! Thank you for dying on the cross for us. Please help us to focus on you this Easter! In your name we pray. Amen.
