We say many words in a day. Think about how many words we say in a lifetime. Words are very powerful. There is a saying, “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.” I see this as a foreign language. Words can hurt so bad, especially if they aren’t true. Well, have I got news for you.
God’s Word is the ultimate Truth. You can use the Word Of God, which is the Bible, as a weapon to defeat the devil’s lies. So, I encourage you to use tenacity. Read Ephesians 6 and try and memorize all the parts of the Armor of God. You can make up hand motions, put a tune to it, or have some kind of saying to help you remember. In the end, God’s Word is Truth, and He gave His one and only Son to die and save us from our sins. In hard times, God is for you, and He will defeat any trickery that the devil has trapped you in.
